This finger puppet's name use to be Bar, short for Barbie, because I use to dress him/her up in her clothes. Needs a new name. Suggestions?

Miss Mus

Miss Mus was visiting friends in Seattle last year and enjoyed playing in the garden and picking strawberries and cherry tomatoes. Yummy!

Gift from my sister, Lillian. 

socks and tea towels

Lighter blue pair knit with 2.25 mm; 52 sts. 

Other with 3 strands, 36 st, 4.5 mm

Heel flap procedure is knit in the round for about an inch so the sock will hug my ankle.

last week's finds

Yarn from the SPCA on Victoria Dr. except for the cream, yellow and grey ball on the platter. Unusual colour combo.

Should eye?

Bug spots or alien eyes? Both would be kind of creepy.

magazines

tote and quilt

Rocketship crib quilt; a little threadbare around the edges. Skunk game with shrunk tote. Shepherd Classic Wool.

mindless knitting

Bernat Felt mixed with White Buffalo for a change of pace.







Grey chains are knit with vintage Woodward's T-bird polar wool. 5 hanks made 4 chains; i-corded.

Fun and fast as the links are addictive to knit.

The pattern is on whipup.net; Dec. 6/07. I would add short rows to the wrist portion to make them looser.

Hat kick

Hats are fun and quick as you only have to make one, and not match it to anything like another sock or mitt. There are 8 cream hats in total from 965g. Orange and grey ones are White Buffalo and the red one is handspun. Magnets hold the chin strap.
