swippered out

I'm done swippering. These are the latest ones just out of the washer. I like to use contoured inner soles to shape them. Kathleen Day is revising/clarifying the pattern to make it easier for you and me. Thank you, Kathleen.

This one's just too cute.

clogged brain, not drain

A new load of slippers. Lucky, my washing machine, doesn't mind the wooly bits floating around in the water. I said I wasn't going to knit any more for awhile, but the one in the middle was started last night and finished this morning. That one has a double sole.

swippers

I've been calling these clogs for the longest time but they stay on better when knitted higher up the heel. Since I like to use them to dust the floors, I'm going to call them, "swippers."

Nicky's Knitting Granny and the Cat

Found at the Sally Ann last month.

Monday, February 5, 2007

I've been knitting clogs out of 6 strand wool for the past few weeks; working out sizes. The problem is; I don't like to take notes, so that's why I'd like to try blogging. It may help me get my thoughts and formulas straightened out.
